Baby Applesauce

Rate this post

Apfelmus, Apple Sauce, Apple purée, Appelmoes – Baby Applesauce. Inspired by the Dutch I live with. This is incredibly easy, delicious and humble taste to anything you have mood for. The Dutch love it with any kind of potatoes: boiled, sautéed or fried, accompanied by a nice piece of a burger or meatballs. If you have mood for a sweet go, mix it with some nice vanilla dessert or yogurt.
Apple Sauce is also a very good fix for digestion problems, calms your stomach and nerves down. And let me tell you, lightens the room and brings up the Christmas spirit in your homes. Enjoy and Snack with me!

Let it simmer on a medium heat for about 1 hour. Taste and add sugar accordingly.

When apples get really soft, take out the cinnamon. Press the apples with a potato masher and take off the heat.
Fill up some clean glass jars, close them tightly, turn them upside-down and wrap them in a blanket until they cool down entirely. Store in a cold dark place for maximum 1 month.

Makes 3 medium jars.
