Inspired by comfort food from the Czech cuisine, with my little twist in it – Easy Pork Snack.
This cannot get any easier. The only thing you must have is a number of good products – sausages, pancetta and cheese. The whole secret is out. Snack with me and enjoy!

The Total Time: 30 minutes

Shopping List

4 large Bavarian pre-cooked white sausages
4 slices of good matured cheese (Old Amsterdam, Cheddar or Gouda)
4 slices of good quality pancetta
Olive oil
1 tablespoon of honey
1 teaspoon of whole-grain mustard

4 slices of bread to serve

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Cut the sausages opened in the middle, but not all the way though.

Place the cheese in the holes.

Wrap the sausages in slices of pancetta.

Sprinkle with the olive oil.

Place in a small baking tray and roast for about 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix honey and mustard in a small bowl.
After 10 minutes, take the sausages out and brush them nicely with the marinade.
Continue roasting until they are beautifully golden. Just before serving, place the slices of bread on the roast.

Take it all out and slice sausages into small bites.

Serve immediately with a cold beer. Soak the baked bread into the saucy bits from the roast. Yummy!

Makes 4 serves.
